ToolVault is a one-person project: a growing collection of free, private tools for images, PDFs and QR codes. Everything runs in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored online.
Why ToolVault exists
ToolVault started from a simple conviction: converting an image or compressing a PDF should not mean handing your file to someone else's server. Most online converters work that way, and the server bill is exactly why they charge, throttle or shut down over time.
Browsers today are powerful enough to do serious work locally. With WebAssembly, image encoders, PDF libraries and even neural networks can run inside the browser on your own hardware. That makes a tool that is fast, private and free forever structurally possible.
ToolVault is built one tool at a time, around the conversions people actually search for. Everything is free, with no accounts, no uploads and no limits. If a tool you need is missing, get in touch - feedback drives the roadmap.
How it works
Runs on your device
Every tool uses WebAssembly running in your browser. There is no install step and no cloud worker.
Zero uploads
Files are processed locally and never leave your device. Open the Network tab during a conversion and you will see no uploads.
Zero servers
There are no file servers, no queues and no accounts. The site itself is a static page served from a CDN.
Free forever
With no servers to pay for, there is nothing to charge for. No paywalls, no file limits, no trial timers.
